This Cypripedium pubescens was photographed in a backyard garden in Nashville,
Tennessee on April 20th, 2003 (Easter Sunday). Very nice established plants of this
species may now be purchased from many good garden centers, and usually grow
and bloom much better than those plants removed from the wild.
